today has been a good day, wqeather has not been to bad either. Starting to gain a little momentum. Getting ready for Next week. I have decided to start as I mean to go on. Taking stock at what is good or bad and get on with it. No matter what.

My loyalty cards are nearly ready, they are basically a large postcard for existing customers to keep and use at a later stage should they want some other work done. It will give them up to 20 per cent off the quoted price. If the client has no use for it they can pass it onto a family member or friend to use, but they would not get the discount, they would however get a great price as usual.

This is my 101 st posting, so I might have to make it special. But I cant think of anything to say except thankyou to all that have viewed and commented over the last few months. Lets hope for a wonderful 2011. Think of the good times, we need to at the moment, tune into the news and its all gloom and doom, so we need to get moving on upwards to create a better 2011.

I must say I like this weather at the moment, wet and windy. Trying to get some idea on where to get trade. Looking at the papers and other internet sites. Still could be worse. Hope this weather does dry up soon then we can all get out into our gardens and survey what we would like to do this year. Perhaps a new patio or deck, a new driveway or a fence thats blown down after many years of service. One comments recently was asked if I paid my Taxes and am I a registered company, the fact is I do pay my Taxes, like many of us too much as well. When I think of all the money I have paid in Taxes over the years, where has it gone I would like to know, not in my account thats for sure.

When work comes in, you can be assured of my very best attention. this is a phrase or something very similar you see or hear quite a lot, more often its a sales pitch to get you hooked and does not mean what it says. More often you get bad attention, and once you have bought something bad delivery. How many of us have witness this I wonder. A little trumpet blowing now, but I do like to think that I give the client a good deal and am grateful for their custom. What does get to me are those telephone lines that have, not only the call centers, but the options, you know the ones press 1 for this press 2 for that, some of them have so many I have forgotten which one to press, so you guess and then find youself in the wrong department, yes you have guess it they transfer you and then you to listen to music over and over again. Bring back the receptionist that what I say.

Well the new year is well and truly on its way, finally collected my battery from Lansdown Road, the battery for my cordless drill that is, it has been there since before christmas but with snow was unable to get it collected. Have not done half the things i was going to get done while the days off are a little more at the moment. Still on a brighter note it is not snowing. I am determined to get my finances in order this year, also carry out what I did start last year, which was to keep a track of payments on garden work as they go, this way it allows me to keep myself informed by way of spenditure on each job. Just to see if I am actually making money so to speak. Tried to do it last year and got fed up and stopped, but I will do it this time, I have to.

Today has been a sort of weird day for me, Saturdays is usually the day we go shopping for groceries. And Sunday is the day we have company for dinner, but it has been a sort of tradition that we have company over on New Years Day. So you see my thought!! This weekend company twice!! So keeps me on my toes. Whatever you are doing have a great time.
