Carry regardless, not its not the title of a film but the way things are turning out at the moment. Waiting for stock of Deck Boards to turn up at the suppliers, so we have two jobs on the go, which I hate doing, my brain is not use to doing two things at once, its a man thing hey girls, but its the way it is at the moment had to start a job at Holborough lakes and leave the one in Parkwood Rainham. But as soon as the boards are in back to Parkwood we go.
Happy Days!!

well I have a great week, everything has gone to plan, and have heard from a friend in Australia.
Bob Arnold went to auz over 40 years ago, has moved around a little I think, but he runs a hospitality business, selling curtains, linen and bedroom items to the hotels in western Australia.
From humble beginnings to running our own companies, funny how things turn out.

As I always say "a cut paving slab always looks like a cut slab". Sometimes a patio will need a slab cut to size, to fit in to the measurements of the garden. When you cut a slab you loose the edge and expose the ingredients. The edge of the cut can look unsightly but when the slab is pointed it hides this edge.
What you must never ever do, in my book, is leave an exposed edge for all to see. Well we are working in Parkwood Rainham at the moment. A so called professional landscaping company in the Medway Towns has done just that to a pathway next door to the garden we are working on. The bottom step is at an angle so the slab has to be cut to fit the shape, fair enough I say, but inside of laying and extra brick high so that the slab fits into the void, therefore hiding the cut edge, they have left the bricks low so the slab rests on top of the brick exposing the cut edge. Bad Practice, very Bad Practice. Not only that the customer apparently was charged a lot of money for the privilege.

had a good day, finished the fencing, lifted some of the old slabs ready to lay the new ones once they have been delivered. The garden is starting to look a little different.

Got rained off today, got the trellis up 90 per cent. Finish it on Monday, glad the weekend is here. The quotes done this year now stands at 49. I have said it before, but I really hope they do not become orders all at once, would like to spread them over the year, but I think that might be too long to wait for some.
Orders are coming in though, have not had the rush yet.
Have a great weekend!!

Started another garden deck this week, keep an eye for the pictures. This one has handrails and spindles, with step to one side. The garden also needs some paving, a fence, some trellis, so enough to keep us busy for a while.

If you in the need of some wooden gates, and would like something a little special, then give Cannock Gates a try, google them and see what they have to offer, at the moment they have a 25 per cent off discount on everything. We have fitted some Estate Gates in Meopham recently. They well built and sturdy enough to last for years. All the fittings and even a letter box, complete with an internal box to collect the post in, and, with a key to open the box.
Give them a try or contact us to order and install them for you.

Its Sunday traditionally a day of rest, but for most of us its just as busy as other days if not busier. We all long for those days when we can relax in the garden on that deck or patio, wash the car on your new driveway.
Summer is not far away, and now is a great time to start thinking about the type of family garden you would like, and it may cost less than you think. Todays materials are made to suit all budgets, timber Decking and paving is still the two most popular products, and will continue to be so.
But if we are to pay money for these we all want insure we get a good deal. Thats where MB Gardening Landscaping comes in. Over the years since 1995 we have become one of the leading landscape companies in the Medway towns and surrounding areas.
So if you are in the thinking of getting a new garden this year for all the family to enjoy then give us a call.
Regards Peter
