Decking is a product that over the past several years has grown to be a popular feature in the garden.
To it right takes a little more than perhaps the DIY we all have a go at. The two main tasks are, it must be square, the frame must be at right angles, and of course it must strong enough to take a family gathering. Supported and fixed.
for your next decking project let us take the strain, visit the rest of the site and call us now!!

It ceases to amaze me, how some companies get away with it, today I went to see a job in Rainham Kent. The client wanted to have a small section of fencing replaced and a new gate, no problem at all.
The we went onto talk about the patio that was laid around two years ago by a local company, I wish I could say who it is, but lets say they should have known better, the client wanted the paving pointing done again, the paving is Indian sandstone, now you may know that with this type of paving there is a "dressed" side to it. If the paving was concrete slabs as with this type when you butt them together they create a "V" so you point this area, with Sandstone they are dressed so that you create an "A" in other words the opposite way up as apposed to concrete. This company who laid them had to go back four times to point the paving because it kept on coming out.
The reason for this is that the paving has laid upside down, all the rough undressed side is seen and quite frankly looks and feels terrible. £1800 they charged the customer, which is about right, Indian sandstone is more expensive, but I feel we could have done it cheaper for them. But now they have to live with it because the dressed smooth and nice side is ruined because this company has laid the cement onto this side.
I really wish I could name and shame them, needless to say they known for laying driveways, perhaps they should stick to that and let us professionals do the patios.

what a week again, the weather was horrible, slowed us a little, 8 tonnes of crushed concrete being delivered on Wednesday, happy days. Getting the paperwork done over this bank holiday. Boring I know. Astro Turf delivery on Wednesday as well, bet they all come at the same time. On a funny note we had a Phil and Grant lookalike "talk" to us on Friday, saying get off my drive way, well I say drive way its the the kind of area people park and go shopping I guess, its not actually a drive like a normal driveway its part of the road if you see what I mean, so the deliveries might be a little stressed. Besides he has not got vehicle to park there so what is the problem. Jealously of what we are doing for the customer in their garden. Oh well roll on Tuesday, Eastenders is on that day as well so might not see him.
