Well an eventful weekend, it all statred with my desktop computer blowing up on friday, made a clicking noise and then started to smoke, first the mouse would not work then the whole thing just blew. I had been thinking of getting a new laptop for a while so this was the decider. So at last I am up to date, not bad for 59 year old. Got it from Tesco gillingham lovely laptop, Acer Aspire, 6gb Ram and 750 gb memory all the other facts and figures are over my head but it is quick. Started a great job last week, a patio front and back, this one is for a family in Medway, they have a brave young lady as there daughter. The work is for her, she was left blind in one eye and partial in the other after an horific crash she is without doubt a special and brave young lady and it is our pleasure to do the work. After montyhs of plastic surgery and other visits to hospital she has come through it all. And then today Sunday my Dad would have been 93 I heard from my daughter that her cat had passed away at the top of the steps outside where he always slept. So my dad has a new companion. Looking forward to this week. Ps I have got to get a mouse, not use to this pad thing on the laptop! see you all soon!!

Keeping the Patio theme moving, we have today finished another one. This one was for a husky breed called Malamute, his name was "wooky" great dog very friendly. The area was 45 x 45cm light grey slabs 100 in total, channel drainage at the end, after washing down the slabs, at the end of the paving was a large Kennel, I do mean large, complete with railings and a 8 x 4ft shed like kennel. Great area for the dog to roam around!! Happy roaming wooky!!

What a week, both of us have not only taken through the customers house 8 tonnes of ballast and sand, we have taken 80 slabs, 20 solid concrete blocks, laid steps and channel drainage, laid the concrete base to take all the slabs, got wet two days on the trot. What a week!!. All ready now for the laying of the slabs on Monday.

Hello a great week. Finished a huge garden in Rainham on Friday, the main product was Astro Turf, all 32 metres of it. Looks great see the picture on the site home page. The brickwall around the pond was built by Neil Pocock my second in command. A great job Neil. The weather played its part last week and this week coming we are in Chatham laying a patio. The customer has a huge dog, a husky I think, his head is up to waist. But I have told he is lovely, I say he it might be a she, guess I will find out tomorrow. Still being a husky it might help us pull the materials through to the garden. Anyone got a sleigh I can borrow. See you soon!!
