Much needed rain I know, always the wrong time though, night time is the best. Still looks good for next week I think, starting a deck on monday, this one is slightly raised, and with the rope handrail and stairs, trellis to face it off, will look great. St Williams Way Rochester. Watch out for the pictures when done. The rope has to be soaked and dried before use. Got two enquiries to see today and another one tomorrow. Going to pick up two Guinea Pigs with the hutch, food and all the trimmings today for Amber my 4 year old granddaughter, its a surprise for her, going with Hayley my daughter to pick them up. Wonder what she will call them. So long as its not pinky and perky!! A little before her time I think. See you all soon!!

As with this time of year the anti climax is kicked in, all the fuss of the two days and now not a lot happening, hence writing this. I am looking forward to getting back to work, but at the same time enjoying the time off, recharge the batteries. Hope you all have a great Christmas, and wish you a happy new year. See you all soon!!!

Saturday afternoon is for me sometimes quite, like today for instance, doing some quotes which I like. Two enquiries need a price from me for a Driveway each and some decking. Done the graphics for my poster board, very colourful should stand out. Hope so, going to cost enough, I did have some magnetic signs for my vehicle but on the way to the job in Walderslade I lost two of them, they must have flew off into the road, I am of course waiting for a phone call from the person that may pick them up, have only one now and it looks a bit silly on its own. So getting the poster ready. See you all soon!!!

This week coming is going to be great, Decking, yeah I know what again, but I never get tired of building them. Because each one is different, this one is two tiers with a full step, and handrails at the end. The weather looks ok as well, been pretty good for November, well compared to last year when we had all the snow. Bought some fixings to go over the shoes to stop me sliding in the ice and snow, I really hope they stay in the packet. If you are thinking of a garden project give me a call. See you all soon!!

Got some quotes to do later, one is an extension to a quote for a deck the customers wants it a big longer, and then later ringing a client in Walderslade to arrange a meeting, they have a budget to spend so going to view the site and price within that. See you all soon!!

Well another Saturday hits the dust. Starting another scheme on Monday. This one is a mixture of products, decking, paving, rendering of walls and copings.
The weather man says its going to be fine, hope hes right. Neil is finishing off a brick wall that had to be done. So he will be with me on Wednesday I hope.
Had my Granddaughter Amber round today, we went shopping and then she came back to our house for some dinner. I was amazed that she knew how to work my computer, CBeebies website gives little ones a chance to do all sorts of things like painting, building. She is not four until October, thats what a private school does for you I guess. Well Done Amber!!
Proud Granddad signing off now see you all soon.

Its Saturday again and this weekend is a long one meaning Monday off as well. Got too much work to cope with and as usual on Saturday afternoons, if I relax I fall asleep. So on here to keep myself awake. Typical weather for a bank holiday, ie, rain, clouds etc. Still only working very local next week, or part of it then onto a another scheme in Princess park chatham. As I am a Man U fan I am looking forward to the football match tonight against Barcelona, its going to be a tough one I think, I wish them all the luck. So I might celebrating or not. Bye for now!!

what a hot day, Good Friday has been very productive at home, have painted some garden furniture, and built a single block wall on my driveway. A delivery person very kindly knock the old one down while he was reversing. Had been meaning to do it for a while finally got round to building it, going to paint it white so that everyone can see it. So no excuse in knocking this one down even at night. Hope you all are having a nice quiet relaxing time off work.

Well its Sunday night again, they do come round quick. Looking forward to next week will be getting all done. Indian Sandstone does look great, this type of stone can take a good scrub as well to keep it clean. Sealing them can maintain the wet look, that brings the colour tints out. Visit my site to have a look at some work. See you soon!!

Why is it that everytime we have a rest we feel worse than we did before, anyone else like that. This is why I like to work. No one to answer to, no one to clock on for, go home when you ready and done. Some days are like that not all of them though, it can be very stressful, especially at the end.

What a dull day it is, its going to be dark early I think, a bit bored at the moment so I thought I would do some blogging. Its Feb 5th where did January go, all ready for the 14th are we. I dont want much haha! Very windy out as well, I might get some fencing work you never know. I like doing the close boarded type best, it is so easy and much stronger, especially on a day like today. Bye for now all!!

When work comes in, you can be assured of my very best attention. this is a phrase or something very similar you see or hear quite a lot, more often its a sales pitch to get you hooked and does not mean what it says. More often you get bad attention, and once you have bought something bad delivery. How many of us have witness this I wonder. A little trumpet blowing now, but I do like to think that I give the client a good deal and am grateful for their custom. What does get to me are those telephone lines that have, not only the call centers, but the options, you know the ones press 1 for this press 2 for that, some of them have so many I have forgotten which one to press, so you guess and then find youself in the wrong department, yes you have guess it they transfer you and then you to listen to music over and over again. Bring back the receptionist that what I say.

Well the new year is well and truly on its way, finally collected my battery from Lansdown Road, the battery for my cordless drill that is, it has been there since before christmas but with snow was unable to get it collected. Have not done half the things i was going to get done while the days off are a little more at the moment. Still on a brighter note it is not snowing. I am determined to get my finances in order this year, also carry out what I did start last year, which was to keep a track of payments on garden work as they go, this way it allows me to keep myself informed by way of spenditure on each job. Just to see if I am actually making money so to speak. Tried to do it last year and got fed up and stopped, but I will do it this time, I have to.

Today has been a sort of weird day for me, Saturdays is usually the day we go shopping for groceries. And Sunday is the day we have company for dinner, but it has been a sort of tradition that we have company over on New Years Day. So you see my thought!! This weekend company twice!! So keeps me on my toes. Whatever you are doing have a great time.

Christmas is nearly upon us, another year is soon to finish, where does the time go. We have had a good year, many gardens are far better I hope than they were before we did our magic on them. This time of year many of us look towards families for the good times pass and to come. Looking back on those who are not with us and miss greatly. And for those who are away fighting in foreign lands. Those of us who have to work on the big day creates another challenge. Friends who we may have forgotten about. We wish them all a very Happy Christmas and a Prosperous New Year. See You in 2011!!

The snow is getting silly now, its about 300mm deep here on my Deck. And its still coming down. Mind you we have not had this type of snow fall for a very long time so I suppose we are due for an amount. Hopefully going to stop soon and the rain on Saturday and Sunday might wask it away. Hope so!!! Still keep us in Mind for any work after. We are still booking for the winter months!!

Hello to everyone in Faversham, have had a few visits from you, if you would like some work done get in touch. Day off today because of the recent snow, hope to go in tomorrow. At least to see what the garden is like. Plenty of things to do, one is to get rid of the rubbish. 2011 is not very far away, where has this year gone, mind you I say that every year. You know time goes quick when the news readers say what has happened 20 years ago and it seems like yesterday. A great site for Decking lights is Seal Designs, given to me by a customer in Gillingham, they have some great lights and very good on price too. Have a look and give me a call to install them for you.

Paving and decking a garden is , and has always been, very popular. The areas of ground we allocate for this is sometimes huge. A well designed patio or deck will always be a great family affair, from the choice of colour, style and pattern. Entertaining outside has become a must for those who like to relax after a hard days work, and the weekends are for family and friends. A great time will be had by all!!
