We had an early day finish today, we were going to build a brick wall, but were told to hold fire until the neighbour has sorted out the issue they have with our customer. Happy Days!!
The height of a wall in the front garden must not exceed 1 meter, its to do with the eye view of oncoming traffic when you are driving out of your drive, that's the height we were going to do, as we knew the legal height. You can go higher must you must get planning permission to do so, but most people do not want to higher in any case, the height of it is not the problem I think.
So we will have to wait until the problem between the two powers has been resolved.
Meanwhile we are to start a new scheme in Gillingham.
See you all soon!!

Sunday morning nothing like it, just prepared a quote and sent it via email to the customer, this one is for a driveway in block paving. We use a cement screed of sharp sand, this gives the best support for any vehicle. The job, hopefully, is in Walderslade, it requires a drive, steps, retaining brickwall, a railway sleeper retaining wall as well. So not just the drive to be done. A skip on the road and away we go. Getting ready for Jim my father in law to come over for his dinner and thats about it. See you all soon!!

Things are looking good to date this blog has generated 1845 comments. Thank you one and all. Cant believe its February already, spring just around the corner, the gardens are starting to wake up. Two products I am keen to get started are Driveways and Astro Turf, these two products are very similar, in as much they both have the same base materials, type 1 or crushed concrete, both have a sharp sand screed. Astro turf is more expensive then the real thing, but, no cutting, no mess, pets cant destroy it, stays green all year, and is warmer than grass. Why not give it a go this year. See you, oh and dont forget to have your driveway done as well!!

A brand new Driveway will enhance your property and give it that kerb appeal when it comes to selling your house. Plus with the lack of parking space these days its almost a must to have off road parking in some way. The latest regulations are that if the area you are going to have paved is permeable, that is to say it lets the water drain through then you do not need planning. If it is not then you might need planning permission, or if you can drain the water off towards say some grass of other drainage then you will be fine. So if you have the space why not give us a call, its cheaper then you might think.
