Whether the weather be cold, Or whether the weather be hot. We'll weather the weather, Whatever the weather, We'll weather it, Like it or not!
Whether the weather be fine Or whether the weather be not. Whether the weather be cold Or whether the weather be hot. We'll weather the weather Whether we like it or not.
A poem that just about says it all at the moment.

Well all finished at Wouldham, customers was very pleased, and took the time to make our stay in their garden a good one, just wish the weather a bit better today, got a little wet both of us. The rubbish clearance firm took it all away and the garden was left tidy.
Starting the Chatham job on Monday, so all good. This one is fencing, decking, paving and astro turf, so a good mixture, a little shrub clearing first though. The house is a terrace one but kind neighbour is allowing us access via the side entrance and across her garden, so that is very kind.
See you all soon!!

What a horrible day it was, rain all morning could not get anything done, even the trusty gazebo was no good today the wind just kept on blowing the rain into our work.
Has put us a little behind, hopefully catch up, I hope we have enough time. What a difference a week makes, last week was great, sunny and warm.
Concreting almost done, and the Manor walling is near completion.
See you all soon!!

Got rained off today, the first time for quite a while, so cant complain too much, the gazebo did its job right up until the wind got going, and so did the gazebo, lifted into the air about 6 feet, had to rush to hold it down, success, dismantled it for the day and covered the concrete footings we laid.
Got home early, put the kettle on, and guess what happened, yes it leaves off raining and the sun comes out, cant control the weather can we.
See you all soon!!

Another week has passed and what a week, rain, wind, and more rain. Playing havoc with the schedule. Managed to get the paving done in rainham, great name, RAINham, its been doing nothing else. Need a dry day now to point the slabs, got to lay the new path on Monday, should be able to do this as the morning is dry I think. The roofing sheets came on wednesday so need to get that done as soon as also. I blame this wet weather on the hosepipe ban, since the area has gone on the ban, it has rained almost if not every day. The ponds must be filled up by now. Hope the rain has not spoilt your week too much. We are running about a week behind though because of it. See you all soon!!

What a week, we did need the rain as I have said before, so blame me for it, but it had held us up a little, the decking was finished and the pergola also, just waiting for the roof to be delivered. The fencing is almost done just got across the back to be done. Paving has to start this week weather permitting. See you all soon!!

Got rained off today, got the trellis up 90 per cent. Finish it on Monday, glad the weekend is here. The quotes done this year now stands at 49. I have said it before, but I really hope they do not become orders all at once, would like to spread them over the year, but I think that might be too long to wait for some.
Orders are coming in though, have not had the rush yet.
Have a great weekend!!

There comes a time where you just have to call it a day, like today for instance, its pouring down, and no matter how hard you try, the elemnets are just too wet. In fact the more you try to lay a slab, the more it wants to move on its own. Give up and go home is the best option. Dedication is one thing, being silly is another. Try again tomorrow!!
